This line driver (repeater) extends your RS232 line up to 6500 feet (2km) with optical isolation of 2.5KV to protect against transient surges and ground loops on your data line. It is made of hard plastic and suited for general use as well as operation in tough environments. The unit is powered from the RS232 port of your device so no external power supply is needed. It is used in pairs, one unit at each end of your data line. Notice, sold in pairs only.
